One might hold an adverse picture when it comes to the Middle East and Women empowerment. But, the picture is not entirely correct anymore, the wheels are turning and Women in UAE are now being made available with equal financial support and opportunities to grow and excel in every aspect.
Dubai Islamic Bank has taken the initiative by opening its first ladies-only branch in Jumeirah and has unveiled Johara, a value-added service for them. The Bank is also aiming in providing special financial schemes for women entrepreneurs and encouraging them towards success. This initiative would not only allow businesswomen in the UAE to conduct their financial transactions in complete privacy and comfort but would also open the doors for other women to indulge more in the financial sphere thereby increasing the financial literacy extensively.
